Summer '26

Holy schmoly, it's somehow already August!! Scratch has been in public beta for nearly 3 months, which feels both extremely fast and like I've rebuilt half the site 😅

We've also officially hit 500 registered artists!! It's been a wild ride, and seeing the platform grow this far still feels completely surreal.

I've kept sanding down the experience while learning a slightly unreasonable amount about international payment processing and all the tiny edge cases that come with it 🥰

There's still a lot I want to build, but Scratch keeps getting closer to the commission platform I've always dreamed of. Please keep messaging me, emailing, or posting in the Discord with anything that comes to mind!! Thank you for all the support <3

• Rebuilt the home page around open artists and delivered artwork.
• Added richer artist cards, filters, searchable tags, featured work, and Surprise Me.
• Added automatic artwork loading and improved home and search performance.

Profiles

• Redesigned mobile profiles to lead with artwork and keep the request button close.
• Added commission slots and multiple example galleries.
• Added more social links, multiple websites, and custom link labels.

Requests

• Added 24-hour drafts and saved requests before payment.
• Clients can resume requests and change their offer without starting over.
• Added commission deadline reminders and improved email reliability.

Artwork

• Added animated artwork, better video previews, and related-work collections.
• Added secure PDF uploads and in-browser viewing.
• Added customizable Scratch cards with themes, emojis, and repointable QR codes.

Earnings

• Added manual withdrawals for eligible Earnings once every 7 days.
• Improved payout information and fixed several payment edge cases.

Polish

• Refined mobile layouts, gallery behavior, loading states, and dark mode.
